Description

From the Golden Age to Modern Era to Current Greats. Sondheim! Webber! Schwartz! Miranda! It’s time to get ready for a musical adventure singing the best of the Great White Way with your friends. Duets, Trios, quartets, and ensembles will be utilized as we explore vocal techniques in class and in a Broadway-style showcase featuring some of the best songs from some of the most beloved Broadway shows. Pitch, enunciation, breathing, vowel placement, tone, and blending are all things that will be focused on within this class. Come be a part of our GLEEfully spectacular experience and show off what you’ve learned in a fantabulous showcase for all to see. Come prepared the first class to sing your audition piece for Seussical, or, if you are not auditioning for Seussical, a 1-2 minute cut of a Broadway-style song.

This class will be combined with the Teen Voice (GIRLS) class.

Leigh Ann Landon

This is Leigh Ann Landon’s second stage production with CCT- the first being last summer’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Leigh Ann loves to work with CYT students as a teacher in voice and music classes and was the Music Director for the Winter 2024 CYT production of Anastasia. Leigh Ann would love to thank the directors for letting her be a part of such an amazingly talented cast and her Father in Heaven for allowing the blessing of CYT/CCT into her life.

I’ve grown up in theatre my entire life, playing multiple ensemble and principal dancer roles. In high school, I was blessed with the opportunity to play The Beast, Jack Kelly, and Tarzan. I love singing, acting, and just performing in general. Robbie Vinson is a close friend of mine, and recommended i try out for shows here!!!
